So, this page will have food related things. What I'm cooking, how I'm cooking it and all the goodness of that! I do a lot in the crock pot, so If you are fallowing me and you do not have a crock pot.. Go buy one!! I suggest atleast a 6 qt crock. It's great. You can cook stuff in there you never knew you could. I have a nifty crock. It comes with three inserts. 2 qt,4,qt, and a 6qt insert. It cost a pretty penny but it was well worth it! You can look at Sears,Jcpenny, walmart and they all have great ones.. Even go look at local garage sales, and like Ross!
So enjoy and hope you try some of these goodies!

 Slow-cooker Salsa Chicken
4-5 chicken breast trimmed
1-1/2 cups Salsa ( I like homemade)

Put all this in your slow cooker, set for med/low 6 hours
Next, eye ball your juice that is left. If you think it is about 2 cups. Add 1 Cup brown rice mix it in, and set on high for 30 mins. While that is cooking let chicken cool, and shred.
Heat corn tortillas in steamer. Cut up toppings lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado.

ENJOY!

Crock-pot Tomato,Garlic Chicken

Depending on the size of your pot, you have to eye ball some of this.

6qt
4-5 chicken breasts
1 lg can of petite cut tomoatos
1-2 cloves of garlic
parsley *for looks*
salt/pepper to taste

Put the chicken in, then pour the tomoatoes on top. Put garlic/salt/pepper/parsley on. Let cook for 6-8 hours on medium or low depending on your crock.

The complete meal goes like this.

Once the chicken is done remove it from the juice made. Add white rice, you will have to eye ball how much juice is in there depends how much rice you add. If you need more juice to make more rice add some chicken broth. Mix rice in, put chicken back on top. Let cook for 20 mins. Or until fluffy. While this is cooking I make broccoli in my steamer.
Enjoy! I will get a photo up soon!
